The SPL2208 is a wideband active antenna combiner/splitter. 2 x 2 (diversity) inputs are combined and then distributed to 8 x 2 (diversity) outputs. Signals are controlled through a basic matrix-selection between two diversity areas. Each input feed can be activated with a button on the front panel. The SPL2208 provides antenna bias and diagnostic check and also integrates the Wisycom Remote Antenna Protocol. Using the same coaxial cable, the SPL2208 creates a network to monitor and remotely control boosters (BFA) or antennas (LFA). All of the functionalities of the device can be accessed on a PC using the Wisycom Wireless Manager program and the SPL2216’s included Ethernet port.
