The 2002 Historic Collection 1968 Les Paul Custom is now in stock! The Les Paul Custom was re-released once again in 1968 and features the same maple top/mahogany back body construction as the Standard. The 1968 Les Paul Custom of this era has a fat neck shape comparable to the 50’s models, with a tight mid-bass. Two 57Classic pickups are installed to reproduce a mellow but bouncy vintage sound. There are many large scratches on the back of the body, and there are also some minor scratches and dings scattered throughout the body. The overall condition of the instrument has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition. The metal plate on the rear tone and the certificate are missing.
